A Father’s Day picnic turned into something unexpected.

We’d gone to Waverley for the afternoon when I stumbled across a gathering of the Surrey Classic Car Club. I happened to have my camera with me. Classic British cars, picnic sets, live music and a summer afternoon in the Surrey countryside — sometimes the best stories are the ones you weren’t looking for.
